I love being inspired. I love hearing how people have succeeded in their own life, and how they created their business — and in turn, found their wings and created a life built on their own terms.
But it isn’t just the success that inspires me. Rather, what’s truly fascinating is their path to success. For starters, there’s no one right way.
No matter how brilliant, no matter how motivated, no matter how focused and determined — and the list of adjectives can go on and on — every single entrepreneur will hit some sort of speed bump along the way (as the graphic from Darren Hardy shows here).
So what makes one person successful? And another stop in their tracks (and let’s be real, start to question themselves)? How they handle themselves after a setback or obstacle. Because, more often than not, the person who picks themselves up, dusts themselves off, and asks themselves: where do I go from here, and how can I overcome this hurdle? They’re the ones who are going to succeed.
I could go on for days and days about this… about how attitude matters. But then again, that’s one reason I started this blog.
I’ve been sharing a lot about my life in the past couple of months, and while I’ll continue to do so, there’s a lot of things I want this blog to be, and a part of that is sharing the stories of success of the people I know and continue to meet on a regular basis. I hope their stories inspire you. I hope they lift you up. And last but certainly not least, I hope they motivate you to pursue your own dreams and goals.
Is there a story that you think needs to be shared with the world? Let me know in the comments!
