They’re here, they’re here! If you’re friends with me on Facebook, chances are you already know what I’m talking about… the new Spring makeup products from Younique. Every March, corporate releases some new goodies, and let’s just say, March was insanely busy (and not just because I also traveled to France; more on that coming).
So what’s new, and why am I so excited about them? Keep reading.
Bonbons: tinted lip balms
I tend toward dry lips, so this was actually one of the products I was most excited about! The Bonbons add a moisture to the lips, while also giving a touch of color too. Think of it as a lip treatment; after all, ingredients include fruit extracts as well as jojoba (an important skincare ingredient) and coconut oil. Wear it all on its own, or mix and match with our other lip products. My personal favorite combo? Sappy lip stain with the vanilla milkshake bonbon.
Moodstruck liquid eye liners
I already loved the pencil liners, but this takes my eye makeup to a whole new game… the liquid liners go on so incredibly easily, thanks to the thin felt point tip. You can apply a thin line using the tip, or angle it for a bit of a thicker line. There’s five colors too, and all dry to a beautiful matte finish that’s also water resistant.
Beachfront line: sunless tanning
Younique started with a makeup, and now there’s a whole new body line too! To say me and my pasty white skin are excited about this would be an understatement. Safe products for my skin, and I’ll look tan?! Give them all to me! There’s a self-tanning spray, ideal for the face; as well as a self-tanning lotion, which is great for the body. It doesn’t have a funky odor; it dries rather quickly; and best of all, it gives my skin the perfect glow (that isn’t orange at all!)
I’ll admit though; I’m a self-tanning newbie. So look for a whole post from me about the tips and tricks I’ve learned about applying and maintaining a gorgeous self-tan. In the meantime though, check out my video from my team’s product launch.
New Collections
With new products also comes new product collections, and a whole new collection bag. If you’re looking for all the new Spring products in one cute bag, opt for the Trendsetter collection. All the sunless tanning products (including a body bronzer moisturizer), go for the Beachfront collection. As always, the other collections basically feature a whole makeover in a bag, depending on the look you’re goin for.
