Only have a few minutes to get ready in the morning?
I’ve got your back. It’s amazing the difference just a little bit of makeup makes… both in how I look, but even more importantly in how I feel.
Most of these makeup tips and tricks focus on the eyes and lips, because it’s makeup there that can often have the biggest impact (plus, let’s be honest, it’s the most fun to play with!) Most of these looks also only take 3-5 minutes to complete.
Here are some of my favorite makeup tips and tricks, including some video tutorials using Younique makeup products.
All about the Eyes: A little eye liner, mascara, and brow makeup, and bada boom, you’re out the door! Here are some tips and tricks with all the above (featuring pencil liner and Epic mascara).
The Right Way to Apply Mascara: Do you apply your mascara to just the tips of your lashes? Or from the base? How you apply your mascara can make a HUGE difference in the results. And a swipe of mascara can also help you look more awake in the morning. I’m using Younique Epic mascara on both eyes in this mascara tutorial video and getting very different results!
Brows matter: The brow palette is designed to do your brow makeup (and to give you a natural lift to your face in the process), but Younique’s brow palette can be used in so many ways… you can even get a full 5-minute makeup look from it (Hint: it’s also great for eye shadow and highlighting/contouring). Long-lasting lipstick: While the lip product I recommend to a person depends on their lips’ needs (some need more moisture than others!), Younique’s liquid lipstick is one of my favorite go-to’s in my arsenal. It feels like a lipstick but is closer in staying power to a lip stain. And the product lasts foooorever since less is more with application.
